Steven Grieve: As the former Director of Membership Services of The British Diabetic Association (now Diabetes UK), Steven was directly responsible for growing the organisation’s membership from around 130,000 in 1993 to over 180,000 by 1997.
This growth was achieved by undertaking a major review of business practice, outsourcing key elements of the work to external suppliers and introducing a number of new initiatives for membership recruitment and retention.
Since forming Membership Plus Limited in 2002, Steven has developed a very successful business using a strategic approach to membership whilst providing print, mailing and project management services to his clients. |

Geoff Howard: Geoff joined Craigmyle in 1989 and became a director in 1991. He originally trained as a teacher and taught in London, before joining the Theatre Royal, Winchester, as Appeal Director and General Manager and then becoming Campaign Project Co-ordinator at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton. At Craigmyle he has worked with a wide range of schools in the UK and overseas, as well as hospices, medical charities, churches and arts organisations. Peter is Operations Director at e-mango Ltd an award-winning online solutions provider which is very active in the membership and professional association sector. Before joining e-mango in 2004, Peter lead the development of online systems for several UK Plc’s in the aviation, oil and defence sectors. Peter delivers presentations several times throughout the year on web technologies and web solutions, during the past year at the CBI and Excel conference centre. |
