Information Security Management |
| Description |
Good information security is essential. But its more than a question of good practice; charities and not for profit organisations have a legal duty to look after the information they hold, and they face more than damage to reputation if data about supporters or beneficiaries is lost or stolen. This session explains the implications of the 1998 Data Protection Act for charities and talks through the steps involved in applying an appropriate set of practical standards.
